Templo Tin Wan Praya

El Templo Tin Wan Praya se encuentra en la zona de Aberdeen, al sur de la isla de Hong Kong. Es el sitio que marca el comienzo de uno de los “trekkings” más concurridos del lugar, que se puede seguir hasta llegar al Monte Kellet –a unos dos kilómetros de distancia-. El templo en sí es un sitio al que acuden los pescadores locales para pedir por un buen día de trabajo. Al exterior del mismo se pueden ver figuras de cerámica que representan a los marineros y pescadores, además del incensario que contrasta con los gigantescos rascacielos al fondo. Desde aquí se puede tener una excelente vista de la isla Ap Lei Chau, conocida por tener la mayor densidad de población en el planeta entero. El contraste entre el ambiente tradicional en el templo y la modernidad que se respira alrededor es uno de los mejores motivos para visitar tanto el Templo Tin Wan Praya como la misma ciudad de Hong Kong. El templo se puede incluir fácilmente en un itinerario por el Malecón de Aberdeen y el muy recomendable Mercado de Pescado. Se puede llegar desde la zona de Central utilizando la ruta número 107 de los autobuses públicos.

Tin Wan Praya Temple is located in the Aberdeen area, south of Hong Kong Island. It is the site that marks the beginning of one of the most crowded place treks, which can go up to the Mount Kellet about two kilometers of distance. S The temple is a place to go for local fishermen to pray for a good day's work. Outside of it can be seen ceramic figures representing sailors and fishermen, besides the censer that contrasts with the giant skyscrapers in the background. From here you can have an excellent view of Ap Lei Chau island, known for having the highest population density in the entire planet. The temple can be easily included in an itinerary through the Malecón of Aberdeen and highly recommended Fish Market. It can be reached from the Central area using the route number 107 Sphere of buses.
