BurrianaTurismo
sober but elegant
The convent of the Discalced Carmelites of Burriana was founded in 1896, founded years after the construction of a beautiful church. The building, very sober but elegantly ornamented, is rectangular and has six side chapels and altars. Presiding over the temple, on the high altar, is the image of St. Joseph, to whom the temple is dedicated, and to which villagers once donated, in order to construct the current convent.
