Teatro Liceo

The Teatro Liceo is on the square of the same name, on Bull Street and very close to Plaza Mayor. From Bull Street, the theatre doesn't really catch your attention because its facade is quite camouflaged and homogenized with the next door building. It's located on the same site of the original theatre, built in 1843. The current simplicity in decoration and construction are features taken from the original structure. If you visit the city, look carefully at the schedule, because there are normally lots of events. To buy tickets, you can go to the box office (right next to the theatre, entering through another door), or to the Caja Duero, and most of the time, at El Corte Ingles (where you can also purchase them online).
