Tea Market

Right next to the famous Tat Fan waterfall is a precious market that's worth visiting. The whole area of Champasak is known for its huge tea crops. Most of the population of these villages is dedicated to this labour and they live a very traditional lifestyle worth knowing. Since some of the Tat Fan areas are becoming increasingly touristy, the locals have decided to set up small markets where they sell all kinds of crafts and especially the area's famous teas. The market is next to one of the most famous waterfalls. It consists of many stalls with long tables protected from the rain by plastic sheeting.
