Taxi Shanghai Airport - City Centre

For me, a taxi is the best transportation option to get from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to the center of Shanghai. The journey takes one hour, and is quite cheap (about 120 CNY, 12 euros). The most important thing to keep in mind is that if you don't know Chinese, take a sheet with the address of your hotel written on it in Chinese. If not, you may have some problems, as almost no Chinese taxi drivers can read the western alphabet or speak English. Once you leave the airport you'll find a queue of people waiting for taxis. There's usually a man who asks for the address and tells you which taxi to take, because they are from different companies, and not all are heading to the city.
