Tartaruga Resort

Tartaruga Resort is a guesthouse with 13 rooms that each have private bathrooms. It´s located on Unawatuna Beach of Unawatuna so it has lovely sea views. The beach is nice and ideal for children because the waters are calm and sheltered from the wind. The best time to visit is during our winter, but it was also fine in August and only rained for an hour or less each day. There are also two two-bedroom cabanas that were built a little higher to prevent further destruction by the tsunami, which damaged most of the buildings in Unawatuna in 2004. The price for breakfast is 13 euros, 20 for dinner and 23 for full pension.
