Tarouca Bridge
Following the Route of the Cistercian Vineyards I left Tarouca in the direction of Dalvares. Before completely leaving the city I saw that the road crossed over a river, so I decided to make a short stop to see the natural environment from the car which I thought looked very nice. It was the Varosela River, a River Varosa tributary, in turn a tributary of the River Douro. From the road bridge I saw another bridge, built in Romanesque style, not very wide, only two arches were enough to cross the river. Later along the route there were a few more bridges, especially highlighting Ucanha Fortified
