A spectacular day trip near Keylong
Tandi is a small town just ten kilometers away from Keylong South. It is a typical mountain village, with its narrow streets (just six or seven) packed with wood in preparation for the grueling winter. It took me half an hour just to get here. I left from Keylong very early in the morning and was pleased to enjoy a beautiful road, with beautiful and incredible scenery. At this point I did not see many things, a street, and, as I said before, a lot of wood, spectacular mountain scenery, and to my surprise and luck (as I was tired and also a bit chilly) an original mountain coffeeshop, hehe heh!
A very nice lady who looked after two children and a nephew while their parents were working in the fields made me a delicious tea with milk and a bit of cardamom, which is commonly known as "chai." I really liked this tea, as well as the good time that I spent with the children: laughter and more laughter! Tandi is not the best place you can visit in the region, but it is a fantastic tour if you decide to spend a few days in Keylong, just like I did.
