Tamaris Port

Tamaris port is a very peaceful place to come and spend an afternoon near the coast, if you are visiting Marseille and Martigues. I really like the natural environment that surrounds it. Right next door is the Sainte Croix beach and it is nice for swimming. Tamaris is organized by small harbor boats, a port that blends fishing and leisure. The "Pointus" colored wooden boats are very simple, having served fishermen in the region for many years. Nearby, the rocky landscape invites you to explore more remote areas and to take a dip. In Tamaris there are basic services to restore your spirit and a few campsites around if you want to stay a few days.
