The Magic of Tagounite: A Photographer's Perspecti

Excellent

Tagounite is a hidden gem in the Moroccan desert that truly exceeded my expectations. The town is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of sand dunes and rocky terrain, and the locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The traditional architecture and authentic culture of the town are a delight to explore, and the local markets are full of unique and beautiful handicrafts. I was also blown away by the delicious Moroccan cuisine, particularly the tagines and mint tea. Overall, I highly recommend Tagounite to anyone looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure in Morocco.

Books as old as mankind

Tagounite is a small village on the way to the dunes of Zagora called Tinfou. It's famous for its handmade ceramics ... When you are in Zagora you can stop there and get a ride. Apart from the lovely ceramics that you can buy for gifts , you can also visit the underground kasbah and the Koranic library. This library has books as old as mankind. The underground Kasbah is also amazing. It's a sea of lanes or rather tunnels, but with houses ... It's an underground mud town. :)
