Exquisite tenderloin

It’s been awhile since I’ve wanted to recommend this tapas bar in Santiago de Compostela, one of the busiest places in all of the old section of town since it opened in 2002.

It’s a small “tapería” located on famous Franco street. It’s very popular among tourists, pilgrims, and those from Santiago de Compostela too, both for the quality of food and the great location in the old quarters, just a few meters from the cathedral.

I recommend you try the exquisite tenderloin “pincho” (little dish) (2.70€), that are the best in the city in both quality and price, the ensaladilla (Russian potato salad) (3.30€), or the tortilla (Spanish omelet) (1.10€), or anchovies with cheese (1.10€), although any hot or cold dish won’t let you down.

Dinner in rations

Very good dinner, beginning with spectacular toast dishes. A peppered pork kebab and another sublime streak kebab. We then continued with a ration of clams and two juicy shrimp dishes with high quality olive oil. For desert we had Saint James (Santiago) cake. It was homemade and didn’t have anything in common with the premade cakes you usually find. We had an after-dinner shot as the perfect way to finish things off. It has a good price-quality relation and for that, it’s filled with customers. Highly recommended.

Tapa's dinner

Excellent

We went one night to have dinner, and actually it is a great place to recommend. Very good and price-worty pinchos and tapas! They serve a good salad, as well as schrimps pinchos, cold and hot toasts...

Good one

Excellent

I would recommend tenderloin, fried squids and stewed mushroom with iberian ham (amazing). We paid around 18 € each one, with four pinchos (potions), two small saucepans, squids and dessert.
