Cheap Buffet in Harajuku

Excellent

I can't wait to go back to Japan, and I have plenty of places I'd like to revisit from when I went last January. The Tabasa is not your typical Japanese restaurant, and was the only western-style restaurant I visited during my visit to the country. I love Japanese food, but I wanted to try something a bit different. You'll find it in one of Tokyo's busiest, most fun streets, Takeshita Dori in Harajuku. There was quite a queue, but it was very cheap. It's a buffet with pasta, pizza, ice cream, etc. You have an hour to eat anything you want, and it wasn't bad at all, but there were fewer things on offer than appeared in the showcase dishes in the window.

For example, there were pancakes in the window, but no sign of them inside. Drinks are also included, and it's worth trying some of the interesting varieties of soda you can get in Japan, like Fanta Melon. A good spot if you're hungry and on a budget, but don't expect anything fantastic.
