Pepepotamo
Syros Island
An island midway between Mykonos and Piraeus. The capital, Hermoupolis, elegant, sober, full of life. Few foreigners, except Italians. There are many Italians in the Greek islands. There's a lot of Greek tourism. Charming streets and the constant Meltemi wind. Galissas, a village 8 km from the capital with a few scattered houses but with restaurants and a small town Hotel Benois and beach, is a haven of calm. Ideal to forget the rest of the world a few days.
