Interesting museum
The Jewish community settled in Castelo de Vide, in 1492, shortly after they were expelled from Spain. You will find the museum located at the foot of the castle, inside the ancient synagogue. The museum traces the history of the Jews through its exhibition and will help you imagine what life was like in that trade community, medicine, etc. Admission to the museum is free, you can visit from 09:30 to 13:00 and 14:30 to 18:00 h. You are not allowed to take photographs inside the museum.
