Walk around this isle of the city
From the Pont de Grenelle walk down the isle of the city from the Statue of Liberty to the Statue of Renaissance France. Built by Frederic Bartold, the Statue of Liberty was given to France on the centenary of the French Revolution by French citizens hailing from the United States. The inauguration was held on November 15, 1889. At first, it was installed at the end so as not to detract from the Elysee Palace.
