Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

Designed by architect Lu Yanzhi and with the help of Chinese citizens (especially those from around Guangzhou), this building was built in honor of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen and was completed in 1931. Currently, it's one of the symbols of pride of the Guangzhou and Guangdong province as a whole. Besides being visually impressive, the building is also a museum and a theater with colorful gardens.
