Sukau

Alla fine di una strada che si snoda tra piantagioni di palme da olio e qualche scorcio rimasto di foresta pluviale (si lo so, è uno scandalo!)c'è il piccolo paese di Sukau. La sua fortuna è quella di essere adagiata sul fiume Kinabatangan uno degli ambienti più ricchi di biodiversità dell'intero Borneo. Sukau invece a parte numerosissimi cani, un migliaio di malesi e un ricercatore francese non ha molto da offrire...Appena fuori dall'abitato sono presenti dei bed and breakfast e qualche homestay dove organizzare una bella crociera sul fiume. Se decidete di campeggiare, scegliete il [poi=100471]Sukau b&b[/poi], posto tranquillo ai confini con la foresta dove piantare una tenda costa 10RM a persona (15 se volete anche la colazione). In paese potete rifornirvi in uno dei due negozietti comprando riso, biscotti ed acqua. Buona esplorazione...
