Stupa of Bharatpur

One of the most famous and attractive Buddhist stupas in Nepal. In Bharatpur there are several stupas, but in addition to being the largest city, it' s among the highest in the world. Buddha's eyes watch from the top of the temple and hundreds of followers walk around it in a counter clockwise direction, spinning prayer rolls, while chanting their mantras. There are several interesting restaurants whose windows overlook the square and the stupa.
