Storgata Street

In 1994 we went to this small town during the Olympics. You could say that it is the main street of Lillehammer with Sondre Park continuing until the outskirts. It has many different shops with local produce. Depending on the time, you will find clothes on sale. Apparently, that during the Olympics, the organization misjudged the housing for the journalists covering the event and some ended up having to stay in the street. The villagers voluntarily went to City Hall to spontaneously offer their housing and shelter fo all those who had no place. A good act of solidarity of the people.

Lillehammer

Lillehammer is also famous for the "Lillehammer affair", a sad episode of black history of Israeli intelligence, which in 1973 held here the murder of a 28-year presence of his pregnant wife, and who confused with one of the authors of the slaughter of Munich. His brother (one of the singers of the Gipsy Kings) devoted much time and money to prove the murder by the Mossad, until in 1996 the Israeli government was forced to admit the murder and compensate the family economically.
