Definito come il Borgo piu' bello d'Italia. Stilo caratteristico paese della provincia di Reggio Calabria, ai piedi del monte Consolino. E' bello perdersi nelle tante viuzze del centro abitato da circa 3000 anime, alla scoperta di chiese, fontane e palazzi. Diede i natali al Grande Filosofo Tommaso Campanella. Tra le tante manifestazioni che richiamano il turista da non perdere il Palio di Ribusa l'ultima settimana di Luglio, e la festa d' Agosto della Dormitio Virgins. Inoltre molto commoventi e toccanti per i cattolici sono le processioni del venerdì santo "Via Crucis" Da visitare la Chiesa antica di San Francesco, di San Giovanni e il Duomo, oltre alla conosciutissima Cattolica.

Stilo, situata sulle pendici delle "Serre", è una cittadina che vanta un singolare esempio di arte bizantina del X secolo: la "Cattolica", un vero gioiello di arte architettonica ben conservato e che ricorda le costruzioni armene e georgiane. Stilo fu patria del filosofo domenicano Tommaso Campanella, che per i suoi ideali politici di unità, giustizia e pace trascorse 27 anni in carcere.
