Very peaceful
You have to pay to access the Stevenson museum, but the gardens, the lagoon where Stevenson swam, and his tomb can be visited free of charge. To get to the tomb, there are two roads, one that's steep and straight, about 30 minutes, and the easier one, about 45 minutes. The first is quite uncomfortable and damp with very slippery mud, so it's better to take the longer road, which runs through a tropical forest until the top of the mountain behind Stevenson's house. There is a simple grave that houses the bodies of Stevenson and his wife. It's very peaceful, and I was there alone.
