Stein am Rhein Old City

Here, where Lake Constance again becomes the Rhine there there is the small town of Stein am Rhein, which is famous for having a well-preserved old town, with fresh exterior facades and half-timbered houses. We spent a whole day here when the heat was overwhelming, after eating, which by the way is very expensive, we went for a swim in the river. I have called the facades fresh because it makes the town resembles a museum and thus it is a town with incredible beauty.

Extraordinary small town in Switzerland situated along the Rhine River where there is a fantastic medieval Old Town, where I walk through is highly recommended. Although there are many tourists it is still a relaxing place to go for a stroll.
