I had never heard of the place and it was getting late. My main thought -- do we want to drive up there only to find that on a Saturday night the campground is full? Wow -- call that the least useful worry in history. Out of more than a dozen spots, only a lone RVer was in one. The rest of the site was wonderfully empty, noted only by a damp chill and a restive breeze. We set up next to the creek, had tacos for dinner, and played in the forest until it was too dark to see.
