The world's most active geyser
About halfway between the Canyon and the area of the geysers, Norris Basin is home to the hottest springs that you'll find in the park. You can take one of two different paths from the Visitors' Center, leading you to the Porcelain Basin and the Black Basin, where you'll find the Steamboat Geyser. A wooden walkway around 2.5km long runs between springs and the large, unpredictable geysers, including the Steamboat Geyser.
