Statue of Liberty Ferry

If there is one means of transport you simply have to try during your New York trip, it has to be the boat. And the most famous is the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. You embark at Battery Park, on the southern end of Manhattan, and enjoy the stunning panorama of the New York skyline and the museum on the island where so many immigrants entered America. It's a real step back in time!

I took the ferry island ferry, which is FREE, It goes around the statue but can get breathtaking views of NYC and the lady.
