Statue of Ali Al - Attar

Yo creo que Alí al-Attar, no hubiese pensado un sitio mejor para permanecer eternamente, que esta recoleta plazuela desde donde se domina toda Loja y dentro del recinto amurallado de la Alcazaba. Alí al-Attar,fué el padre de Almoraima, la esposa de Boabdil, el ultimo rey musulmán de Granada, el cual le nombró Capitán del reino. La estatua se encuentra en medio de una pequeña placita, desde donde se puede divisar toda la ciudad y los campos que la rodean. Desde la misma plaza podemos acceder a un callejón que nos llevará directamente al Caserón de los Alcaides Cristianos dentro del recinto de la Alcazaba

I believe that Alí al-Attar, would not have thought of a better place to stay forever, this secluded square which overlooks all Loja and within the walls of the Alcazaba. Ali al-Attar, was the father of Almoraima, wife of Boabdil, the last Muslim king of Granada, which was named Captain of the kingdom. The statue stands in the middle of a small square, where you can see the whole city and surrounding fields. From the square we can access an alley that leads directly to the Big House of the Wardens Christians within the precincts of the Alcazaba
