Station AVE Figueras-Vilafant

In order to travel at high speed from Barcelona to Paris you have to take an express train from Barcelona Sants to Figueres-Vilafant (with a stop in Girona) and then change to the French TGV. Vilafant AVE station in Figueres was opened a few weeks ago so take care because there is another, older station in Figueres which isn't the same. This one is new and is located on the outskirts of Figueres. The change from one train to another is done in a few minutes on the same platform and very easily. There are staff from both companies who speak in Spanish, Catalan and French. There is parking at the station (about 13 euros for 10 hours), but there is no bar or restaurant.
