Stara Baska

Unico borgo della costa sud-occidentale dell'isola, Stara Baska è collegato agli altri centri abitati con una strada asflatata soltanto dal 1980. Arrivano qui i turisti che hanno voglia di fuggire dalle spiagge affollate di Punat o di Baska e vogliono godersi la tranquillità di un vero borgo di pescatori. Si raggiunge dopo aver oltrepassato Punat, quando le distese di ulivi lasciano il posto alle brulle montagnole. Un paesaggio quasi lunare che ben si adatta alla tranquillità che si respira nel centro. Il paese si apre sul piccolo molo, circondato da qualche casa e un paio di bar e ristoranti arrampicati sulla roccia. Prima di arrivare al molo si incrociano invece alcuni appartamenti che si affacciano sulla costa e che sono molto amati dai turisti.
