A antiga sede da prefeitura de Gouda é um prédio histórico holandês no centro (literalmente) da praça central da cidade. Datando do século XV, é um dos prédios góticos governamentais mais antigos do país.
Durante muito tempo havia um fosso com água em torno do prédio, que só era acessado através de uma ponte levadiça. Além do estilo arquitetônico, também chamam a atenção as diversas janelas com venezianas vermelhas, as várias estátuas e o carrilhão com pequenos bonecos que atrai espectadores funcionando a cada meia hora.
O prédio já não abriga mais a prefeitura, e tem salas e ambientes à disposição para aluguel para eventos.
The old town hall of Gouda is a Dutch historical building in the center (literally) from the central square of the city. Dating back to the fifteenth century, is one of the oldest Gothic government buildings in the country. Its construction began in the first half of the fifteenth century. For a long time there was a moat with water around the building, which was only accessible through a drawbridge. Besides the architectural style, also point the various windows with red shutters, various statues and chime with small dolls. The building no longer houses over the municipality, and environments and has rooms available to rent for events.
