A lo largo del Camino a Santiago, se esconde una de las maravillas ocultas de este camino. Estamos hablando del Monasterio de Santa María de Sobrado, el cual fue construido con elementos típicamente renacentistas y Románicos, creando un fiel ejemplar del Barroco Gallego. En su interior hoy conserva una modesta hospedería, como así también un albergue para peregrinos. Pese a haber sido fundado como tal en el año 952, se conserva de manera excelente y en su interior cuenta con visitas guiadas.

Along the Road to Santiago, lies one of the hidden wonders of this road. We are talking of the Monastery of Santa Maria de Sobrado, which was built with typical Renaissance and Romanesque elements, creating a faithful copy of the Baroque Gallego. Inside today retains a modest inn, as well as a shelter for pilgrims. Despite having been founded as such in the year 952, excellently preserved and its interior has guided tours.
