Mi interés por [poi=635821]Plentzia[/poi] vino por esta interesante iglesia, diferente, única, y al final no solo la iglesia, sino toda la población me ha cautivado. Ubicada en el centro neurálgico del casco antiguo en la bella y colorida plaza a la que da nombre, la iglesia nos cuenta el pasado naval de la villa y su antigüedad. https://dondevamoseva.com/que-ver-y-hacer-en-plentzia/ Destaca su espectacular torre campanario, de una robustez sin igual y que se construyó con una clara intención: la vigilancia de la desembocadura de la ria (S XVI). He llegado a Plentzia tras ver en una guía una impresionante imagen de esta iglesia por la noche, iluminada su sólida torre, con un aire enigmático, casi místico y no solo por eso, todo lo que se relaciona con la Magdalena atrae mi curiosidad;-) He tenido suerte!, por fin una iglesia abierta. He llegado justo cuando acababa la misa y he podido entrar en una iglesia después de días de visitas sin tener la misma suerte en otras poblaciones! Es un consejo que os doy, si os gusta visitar estos lugares de inigualable belleza arquitectónica, consultar los horarios e informaros, porque os aseguro que os podéis encontrar con la sorpresa de encontrarlos siempre cerrados! En su interior se encuentra un joya única: los cinco paneles de alabrastro que configurarn el políptico de la Pasión, datados allá por el 1440, y la tan característica maqueta de un barco de toda iglesia marinera. A destacar su techo de madera de una delicadeza artesanal admirable. Ya os lo digo, una pequeña joya en medio de un tesoro que es la villa de Plentzia.
