A friendly priest allowed us to visit the church
One of the most characteristic buildings and highlights of Prague is the Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene of the Polish Orthodox Church, is yellow and is topped by cupolas that are black (which are very characteristic of Orthodox churches) We looked and they were about to close, but a friendly priest asked us where we were from, using a man who was there as a translator. He began to talk about football, he knew a lot of things about the Spanish league! He was nice and let us visit the church even though it was past the hour. He explained that the cathedral belongs to the Polish Orthodox Church, which was founded in the year 1924 to integrate Orthodox Christians, mainly Ukrainians and Belarusians who lived in the eastern part of Poland when it got its independence from the Russian Orthodox.
