St Goustan Port

This is definitely one of my favorite parts of Brittany. This picturesque harbor belongs to the town of Auray. It retains the charm of the buildings "à colombages" , the typical traditional architecture. It is easy to walk around, stop for a drink or have dinner in one of the excellent restaurants and crêperies nearby. The views are outstanding from the slope on the opposite side of the mouth of the sea, where you can sit quietly and observe the comings and goings of the people or traditional boats on the calm water. It was there that I took the photograph, expressly planned since I visited the place earlier in the morning.
