Square of Mercy with tile panels and Our Lady of Mercy
On my trip to the Portuguese city of Viseu I was able to see one of the most lovely squares in the country and the Atrium of the Cathedral, with 4 amazing buildings, the balcony of the Canons and the Tower of Household, the Cathedral, the current Basque Grau Museum of Mercy Church. In the middle is a granite cruise. The foundation of the cathedral dates back to the 13th and 14th centuries, built in a Romanesque-Gothic style and although its outside does not draw a lot of attention, the opposite is true once inside of it. At the entrance on the right side, there is the Renaissance cloister with many portals and mounds, tile panels illustrating periods of the life of St.
Cathedral Teutonio pattern. Next to to the cathedral is a granite building, now the Museo Vasco Grau. In the case of the Church of Mercy, calling attention to its pretty 18th century facade made in the "rocaille" style. Inside the middle of the altar a picture of Our Lady of Mercy protecting a poor couple at her feet.
