The Best Views of Portsmouth
The Spinnaker Tower has become a symbol of the city of Portsmouth in just a few years. Its preview for 2000 was completed in 2005 but, since then, it has continued to attract visitors who are interested in the spectacular views from the top. From the top you get a 360 degree view of Portsmouth, the city, and even the Isle of Wight which runs off its coast. The tower represents the shape of a candle, a symbol in a city so connected to the sea. The tower is 170 meters tall and they say it's bigger than England's other iconic landmarks including the London Eye and Blackpool Tower.
