The wall is beautifully-preserved

This is a prehistoric town from the pre-Talaiotic era whose splendor ended with the arrival of Roman dominance. It stands out for being the only settlement in the Balearic island whose outer defensive walls remain perfectly intact. Inside, you can see the remains of the “taulas” (burial chambers) and the five talaiots.

Well-preserved

This is a prehistoric settlement close to the Son Saura beach and a perfect place to get lost among the ruins while imagining the Romans and Carthaginians getting on with their day to day activities between the city walls.

As you walk, you’ll see trenches and strategically-located watchtowers and you’ll feel transported to the distant past where these towers served to defend the town during the Punic Wars.
