Sologne

I discovered Sologne by accident, although it's only a few kilometers from tourist and local cities which I had already walked through: Sologne is more or less located in a triangle whose points are Blois, Orleans and Bourges.It's a very rural area, therefore nature is the appeal. I stayed on a "gite" (cottage) in the village of MONTRIEUX, I loved strolling to the edge of a marsh every morning, and walking further into the forest to reach birdwatching houses. Ideal to relax and get away from city life!
