Sleeping in Hambi, a small town, where you can get lost in its temples
Sleeping in Hampi is simple, and a pleasure, Hampi is a small town in northern Karnataka, on the banks of the river Tungabhadra. Its color contrast give amazing sunsets from prisms of the huge red rocks, the green of the banana plantations, the blue of the sky, and its river, the marble temples. Hampi is within the ruins of Vijayanagara and offers tours visiting temples and it is a scandal, the only thing that costs is the price of the riksaw to take us, as most temples are open , there is almost no one inside, so we can get lost between its corners and enjoy the silence. For anyone looking for a quiet and few luxuries , Hampi is a very special place, and is inexpensive, we paid 400 rupees for a double room with bathroom inside but it had a beautiful garden and was quiet and very clean.
