highest lighthouse in denmark
It's near the beach in Grenen, in the Natural Park in the most northern point of Denmark. The gray lighthouse was built in 1858 and at 46 meters is the highest in the country. Inside, a spiral staircase of 210 steps leads to an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy splendid scenery including the "Grenen Wave", frothy union of the North and Baltic seas, for me the exponent of the union of two seas. From the highest point of the lighthouse, on a clear day, you can see a 100 km radius. The lighthouse is known as "Lighthouse rays" because its beam can be seen at a distance of 50 km.
