Sillans intra muros

Sillans-la-cascade est un formidable petit village du Nord du Var. A peine passons-nous à proximité des portes du village que nous sommes déjà impliqués dans son atmosphère médiévale. Ce sont ses remparts qui donnent le ton. Ces pierres blanches forment une construction d’une incroyable intégrité, par rapport à son ancienneté. On y trouve un blason de couleur cuivre et dorée au nom du patelin, affirmant l’authenticité de ce lieu au patrimoine fort.

Sillans-la-Cascade is a great little village in northern Var. Hardly do we spend close to the gates of the village that we are already involved in a medieval atmosphere. These are its walls set the tone. These white stones form a building of incredible integrity in relation to its length. There is a shield of gold and copper color on behalf of hometown, claiming the authenticity of this place strong heritage.
