Very generous portions
This is the kind of restaurant that only locals know about. It's nowhere near any other restaurants, in a street near the bus station. Luckily, we had booked ahead, because it was full of people. It's not very large, and offers abundant portions of traditional Asturian food. For four people, we shared three large plates and a mixed salad. For starters we had some battered fried cheese with homemade tomato jam that was delicious, and octopus with eel. We followed that with sirloin steak, together with potatoes and fried peppers. They normally prepare it table-side, but as the place was so crowded, they told us they'd do it in the kitchen to prevent the smoke being a nuisance.
