El Lavaderu

The Lavaderu is located in the famous Plaza del Periodista Arturo Arias, in the heart of Cimadevilla, the neighbourhood known as the kingdom of cider. The Lavaderu is one of the best-known restaurants, right at the end of the plaza. In my case, we had booked at another restaurant, but as one of the girls didn't like the look of the place, we came here instead - and it was a decision we came to regret, as the dinner was a disaster from start to finish.

The scorpionfish wasn't too bad, but the portions were very small, and it got worse when they brought us a serving of chicken in garlic which tasted rancid, and a pretty bad-looking chorizo in cider.
