Sidi Mouldi Mosque

As in almost all Tunisian cities, Tozeur has several mosques. The Mosque of Sidi Mouldi is located on a side street on the left (west) of the Avenue Habib Bourguiba , the main street. Both the facade and the minaret boast the peculiar architectural of the city, which is built with characteristic brick walls whose placement, either inside-out or outside-in, form a unique facade decoration. Access to the mosque is forbidden to non-Muslims, but the central courtyard is open to the public.
