Shorehouse Kitchen

After a wonderful morning spent at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography in La Jolla, we walked to Shorehouse Kitchen for lunch. I had read excellent reviews online but I was anxious to see if it lived up to the hype.

It absolutely did.

Right from the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely impeccable - the best we had during our entire week in San Diego. The menu is full of unique Californian-style items with a healthy twist. And as you'd expect, there is a way to gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan-ize almost anything on the menu. If I lived in La Jolla, I would eat here once a week.
