1 review of Shevlin Park Loop

Easy and beautiful path

Shevlin Park loop is an easy and beautiful path along Tumalo Creek. It’s located about 3 miles northwest of Bend. The park entrance/parking area comes up on the left off of NW Shevlin Park Road. The path is over 4 miles round trip and intersects with many other paths, including Tumalo Falls. The path is steady, fairly flat, and includes a few footbridges that pass over water. It’s ideal for families, dogs, runners, hikers, bikers, snowshoers, and cross country skiiers. The path wanders from aspen grove to grassy field, over babbling Tumalo Creek and through the silent forest. There are also a few spots for a picnic.

This trail is lovely, but does get a bit crowded on weekends if you happen to be looking for solitude. Check out a map before you go, since it does intersect with many other trails. Or hey, just go where your nose leads you!
