The artery of the city
The main street of Dubai, with vehicles flowing through the city. This is a highway with no crosswalks, and between 6 and 8 lanes. It is so important, that it is named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was the ruler of Abu Dhabi and first president of the UAE, a post he held for over 30 years (1971-2004). From it, you can see absolutely all important buildings of the city. Unfortunately, there's a toll - but don't worry, it's not too expensive. Each car has a magnetic card on the windshield, and the toll is 4 dirhams (about 75 euro cents). You'll find the traffic police here, too, working
