Tempio di Confucio
Il tempio di Confucio a Shanghai, anche noto con il nome di Wen Miao, fu fondato durante la dinastia dei Yuan ed è il tempio principale di Shanghai dedicato al famoso filosofo cinese. Al suo interno si possono visitare diverse sale che ospitano statue di Confucio e copie antiche dei più noti testi confuciani. Gli alberi sono decorati con talismani, dove gli studenti chiedono a Confucio di superare gli esami, essere ammessi all'università dei loro sogni, e così via. Sul retro dell'edificio si trova un bellissimo laghetto ed una pagoda. Il tempio ospita anche una collezione di ceramiche ed una casa del tè, dove si può assistere ad una cerimonia e gustare alcuni tipi di tè gratis. La zona circostante è piena di negozi di giocattoli, articoli per la scuola ed anime e manga. Qui infatti si trovano diverse scuole ed asili. Una zona bellissima e tradizionale, dove si può anche gustare cibo autentico ed economico. Il tempio non è lontano dalla famosa e moderna Xintiandi.
The Temple of Confucius in Shanghai, also known by the name of Wen Miao, was founded during the dynasty of the Yuan and the main temple in Shanghai dedicated to the famous Chinese philosopher. Inside you can visit several rooms containing statues of Confucius and ancient copies of the most famous Confucian texts. The trees are decorated with talismans, where students ask Confucius to pass exams, admission to college of their dreams, and so on. On the back of the building there is a beautiful pond and a pagoda. The temple also houses a collection of ceramics and a t home, where you can attend a ceremony and enjoy some kinds of t for free. The surrounding area full of toy stores, school items and anime and manga. For here there are several schools and kindergartens. A beautiful and traditional area, where you can also enjoy authentic food and cheap. The temple not far from the famous and modern Xintiandi.
