Sfatului Square
Piața Sfatului means town hall square. The building you see in the center is no longer the council, but is now a museum of history of the region of Brasov but the name of the square was not changed. It's a very nice place because it is partially pedestrianized, with fountains and lots of flowers. We went at the end of the day and there were many people clustered in the square eating and drinking. The square is in the medieval center of Brasov, formerly protected by city walls. It is a large square, which gives us an idea of the importance of the city at this time. It was built by the Saxons. Around the square, there are old houses from different eras.
