Set of King Kong

At Universal Studios Hollywood, you can also find the set of 'King Kong' (unfortunately I don't know the year). You can see where the boat that sails to the island to discover the ape was filmed. In the film, it looks like a huge ship, but in reality it is a miniature, filmed in close-up! The magic of cinema! "King Kong" is the story of a fictional giant ape native to a remote island. Captured by U.S. explorers and taken to New York, it rampages until it is killed while climbing a huge skyscraper.
