Great, relaxing hotel
The Jardín Milenio Hotel (known locally as just the "Milenio") is a relaxing and friendly hotel with an excellent location in Elche. It's situated between several palm groves and feels like it's not even in the city. But, within a 5-minute walk you're in the heart of the El Raval historic district, and within a 20-minute walk (or 4min. taxi ride) you'll be in the center of town.
The rooms are comfortable and have large beds, dressers, a refreshingly arctic AC system, cable TV, and comforting views of the Arab-style interior courtyard or the pool area. Speaking of which, the pool area is awesome, it's not crowded at all and is surrounded by flowers and palm trees. There's a waitstaff that'll be happy to bring you a cold beer as you relax under the sun. The interior courtyard with its bubbling fountain and flowing vines is a wonderful place to have your morning coffee after gorging yourself at the breakfast buffet (one of the few I've been to in Europe that has all the ingredients to make NY-style bagels and lox!).
